#What is Burst Rate?
Burst Rate is the maximum number of messages sent from this number in any single hour window.
- Safe: under 120 messages/hour
- Caution: 120–200 messages/hour
- High risk: 200+ messages/hour
#Why it matters
Even if your daily volume looks normal, sending too many messages in a short burst is a strong automation signal. Human senders have natural gaps—automation does not.
#How to improve this metric
- Stagger campaigns over 2–4 hours instead of blasting in 10–20 minutes
- Randomize send times so messages drip out instead of landing all at once
- Split big sends across multiple numbers so no single line spikes
- Avoid back-to-back workflows that fire at the same exact time
#Best practices
- Use schedule windows (e.g. 9am–5pm) and let Blooio distribute sends inside that range
- If you see repeated high spikes, lower your workflow concurrency or throttle rate
